The apostle Peter told the first Christians, “Even though you do not see Jesus now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1:8-9). As we have experienced the peace of our salvation and hope of our faith, we are now filled with inexpressible and glorious JOY. So join us for the third Sunday of Advent as we learn more about our Savior – especially his forgiveness and his love toward frail sinners. Take time to read and ponder John 21:15-19. Above all, “Rejoice, Rejoice, Immanuel has come!!!”
