John: Now Is the Time

This week we return to the study of John’s gospel and again find ourselves journeying with Jesus to the cross. His “time has come,” and he will show us what yielding to the Father’s will looks like. It’s the way of suffering and sacrifice. In our text, John 12:27-36, we hear Jesus’ clear reason for going to the cross, along with a clear message that even while the time for his death is NOW, so also is the time for belief right NOW.
