Worship
Extoling His Glory
Worship is, first and foremost, a way of life that remembers and celebrates the mercies of God (Romans 12:1-2). It is the offering up of our entire selves- head, heart and “hands”- for the sake of declaring His worth and spreading His fame! It demands that we first commit ourselves to God’s truth, but it culminates only after God’s truth causes us to be amazed by God’s grace (John 4:23)! Because God’s grace has been most fully revealed to us through the work of His Son, we believe that GraceWay exists as a body of believers whose eternal purpose is to magnify the Glory of God by engaging the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Grow
Experience His Grace
Scripture teaches that a “living” Christian is an actively growing follower of Jesus. At GraceWay we desire to strategically nurture growth around Biblical truth and in the context of Christian community. We are committed to walk together down the path of discipleship toward becoming who we already are in Christ by faith. This process of transformation must unfold both individually and corporately. Therefore, worship services are only the first step in being a devoted member of a Christian community. Through One-on-One discipleship, church membership, and small groups, each individual will receive Gospel-centered instruction, accountability, and consistent progress towards Christ-likeness.
Serve
Growth in the love of Christ yields the fruit of loving service to others – and this fruit is meant to be tasted first by the people of God. Galatians 5:13 makes clear that the gospel of Christ has freed us, not to serve ourselves, but through love to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ. Therefore, it is our prayer that the people of GraceWay will choose to outwardly display their growing love for brothers and sisters in Christ.
Go
In John 20:21 Jesus said to his disciples, “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” At GraceWay, we believe that as disciples of Jesus we are sent by Jesus into the world, and that our going into the world should be modeled after his.
