Having looked deep into the Scriptures last week, we have seen how the Bible clearly reveals God as the Maker of heaven and earth, that One who alone is Almighty, the loving Father who is ours through Jesus. So now let’s consider what the Scriptures say about “Jesus Christ, [God’s] only Son, our Lord!” This phrase in the Apostles’ Creed invites us into another enriching exploration of God’s Word with the hope that through our study, we will more passionately believe Jesus with active faith! Prepare your heart by reading the passages surrounding John 3:16 and John 20:28. There are, of course, many other passages you could explore.
